Vodafone was of course present with its complete pallet of services and hardware during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. And in technical terms they are not all very remarkable products, but still form the necessary impact on the mobile phone market. Vodafone announces the launch of Vodafone 360 - a new suite of innovative internet services for the mobile phone and Personal Computer. All of a customer’s contacts, status updates and messaging services are brought together in one place enhancing the customer’s experience and use of social media. Customers will have integrated contacts, music, photos and mapping services and can share their favourite music choices and even their physical location, how and when they choose, with their chosen groups of friends. The new Vodafone 360 service is automatically backed up and synchronised, regularly and wirelessly, between the mobile and Personal Computer or Mac.

Vodafone and HTC mobile announced the HTC Magic smartphone, Vodafone’s first Android-powered mobile, which will be available in the spring. The stylish new handset is exclusive to Vodafone in the UK, Spain, Germany and France (SFR) and available on a non-exclusive basis in Italy. Customers can ensure that they are the first to receive information about the HTC Magic’s availability, pricing and pre-ordering by registering their interest via their local Vodafone website. The introduction of the HTC Magic Smartphone is the result of a successful relationship between Vodafone and HTC, and Vodafone’s joining, late last year, of the Open Handset Alliance.

Vodafone and Warner Music International announced that Vodafone customers in 14 countries will be able to watch a live, one-off show by Madonna on their mobile. Streamed live from New York's famous Roseland Ballroom exclusively outside the US to Vodafone customers, the performance will celebrate the release of Madonna’s new album, Hard Candy, which is available globally from today. Vodafone customers in Cyprus, Egypt, France (SFR), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Romania, South Africa (Vodacom), Spain and UK will have access to the show via their mobile phones on Vodafone live!
