LG recently launched the Venus, a true fashion cell phone. The LG Venus, also called LG VX8800 Venus, is the successor of the LG VX8500 Chocolate. The most important improvement is its unique LCD color screen. The resolution and number of colors have stayed the same, however the LG Venus incorporates dual front screens, of which the lower screen is a touch screen. The touch screen is also able to give vibration feedback, which make accessing the phone’s features a breeze.

LG has recently launched the LG Voyager, a clamshell cell phone with a large external touch screen. The LG Voyager boosts very nice features, like a full QWERTY keypad, HTML browser, GPS mapping and V Cast capabilities. V CAST is a 3G EV-DO network created by Verizon Wireless used for streaming of video clips and music. Some videos may be saved to the phone or a removable memory card, which cannot be read by other phones or computers. V CAST is one of the few mobile phone-based systems on which more advanced games, including those with 3-D graphics can be played. V CAST-capabilities which are supported by the LG Voyager include V CAST Mobile TV, V CAST Music and the ability to play .mp3, .wma and unprotected .aac files, and V CAST Video.

Contestants on Big Brother 8 may be housebound, but fans of the hit TV show can follow the drama of this season’s final four weeks live, wherever they are. Marking the first time content from a primetime television show has aired live and continuously on mobile handsets in the United States. CBS Mobile, Verizon Wireless and MediaFLO USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, have teamed up to provide a new channel dedicated to Big Brother 8. The channel will air a real-time, 24/7 feed of the activity inside the Big Brother House from August 19 through the season finale on Sept. 18, 2007.

Wireless customers in Casper and Douglas now have access to the latest high-speed business and entertainment services on their wireless phones, laptop computers and other wireless devices thanks to Verizon Wireless. The new capabilities come with the further expansion of the company’s Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) network in Wyoming, enabling both its BroadbandAccess and V Cast services. Verizon Wireless launched the services earlier this month in Cheyenne and Laramie.
