Adobe Systems Incorporated announced a powerful new predictive publishing capability for Adobe Social, which predicts social engagement on individual pieces of content and automatically suggests ideal timing to improve how that content will perform. The initial version offers Facebook integration, and additional social platforms will be added later this year. Adobe Social, a key element of Adobe Marketing Cloud, enables marketers to scale social marketing across their organizations, listen and respond to customer conversations, and connect the dots between social interactions and business results.

Apple iOS 6.1 with LTE support - Apple updated iOS to version 6.1, adding LTE support for 36 additional iPhone carriers and 23 additional iPad tablet carriers worldwide, so even more iPhone 5, iPad mini and iPad with Retina display users can experience ultrafast wireless performance to browse, download and stream content at ultra fast speeds. Apple iOS users have already uploaded over nine billion photos to Photo Stream, sent over 450 billion iMessages and received over four trillion notifications. LTE is available on the new Apple iPhone 5, iPad mini and fourth generation iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular models through select carriers.

Apple releases a beta version of Apple iOS 5 mobile operating system to iOS Developer Program members. The Apple iOS 5 beta release includes over 200 new features that will be available to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users this fall. New Apple iOS 5 features include: Notification Center, an innovative way to easily view and manage notifications in one place without interruption; iMessage, a new messaging service that lets you easily send text messages, photos and videos between all Apple iOS devices; and Newsstand, a new way to purchase and organize your newspaper and magazine subscriptions. With the PC Free feature, Apple iOS 5 users can activate and set up their Apple iOS device right out of the box and get software updates over the air.

Apple announces their eight release of the Mac OS operating system, Apple Mac OS X Lion offers more than 250 new features and 3,000 new developer APIs. Some of the powerful features in Apple Mac OS X Lion include: new Multi-Touch gestures; system-wide support for full screen apps; Mission Control, an innovative view of everything running on your Mac; the Apple Mac App Store, the best place to find and explore great software, built right into the OS; Launchpad, a new home for all your apps; and a completely redesigned Mail app. Apple Mac OS X will be available in July as a download from the Mac App Store for $29.99.

RIM announced BlackBerry Travel, a new BlackBerry app that provides Smartphone users with an contextual experience as they plan, book and manage their travels and itineraries while on the go. BlackBerry Smartphone users can also have their calendars automatically populated with itineraries as soon as they are confirmed and, by leveraging the BlackBerry push technology, the new BlackBerry app can keep users informed and in control of their itineraries by monitoring flight status and promptly providing notifications about flight changes.

The latest version of the Apple´s mobile operating system has been announced; Apple iOS 4.3. The new Apple iOS 4.3 brings some new features, including faster Safari browsing performance with the Nitro JavaScript engine, iTunes Home Sharing, AirPlay enhancements and a Personal Hotspot feature for sharing an Apple iPhone 4 cellular data connection over Wi-Fi. With the new operating system users of the Apple iPad can also use the side switch to mute the audio and to lock the screen rotation. The new Apple iOS 4.3 operating system is immediately available for Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users as a free software update.

Samsung announced at the MWC 2011 in Barcelona the updated Bada 2.0 platform. The new and improved version of Samsungs Smartphone operating system includes support for Near Field Communication, HTML 5 and Wholesale Applications Community - as well as voice recognition and multitasking. Near Field Communication allows a Smartphone to read information off of everyday objects like stickers and posters which are embedded with NFC chips, meaning that mobile payments can be made using the Smartphone in retail outlets. Samsung has improved the user experience on the Bada Smartphone platform with a personalized lock-screen, layout management and 3D sound.
