Residents of Oklahoma can receive immediate access to National Weather Service alerts during severe weather season and throughout the year through the use of the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management’s (OEM) Weather Notification System. At no cost, subscribers can receive weather alerts for up to five counties sent to their email address and/or mobile device (cell phones, smart phones and PDAs). Standard text messaging rates apply.
