SanDisk announced the Cruzer Titanium Plus, a USB flash drive that offers automatic online backup, giving users true peace of mind. At the CES 2008 in Las Vegas the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium Plus will be featured where SanDisk will be demonstrating new products in the Las Vegas Convention Center. With a capacity of four gigabytes, The SanDisk Cruzer Titanium Plus, is the first flash memory product from SanDisk to offer online backup. Shortly after having sent us the Sansa C250 and Sansa Shaker sent us the SanDisk Sansa Express for reviewing. Sansa Express is a USB format MP3 player supporting, among other things, WMA, WAV and MP3 format. The SanDisk Sansa Express features a dual-colour OLED monitor, weighs a mere 30 grams and is very compact with its dimensions of 79 x 25 x 17mm. The SanDisk Express MP3 player's sound is of acceptable quality. Using the Equalizer lets you fine-tune the sound to your personal preference which may change the acceptable quality to good quality.

Three flash-based products from SanDisk Corporation were named honorees in the Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Awards sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association. The products, consisting of a solid-state drive, a high-capacity mobile phone card and a new computer acceleration module, will be displayed at January’s International CES in Las Vegas, where SanDisk is exhibiting in South Hall 3, Booth 30768. Honorees were announced at CES Unveiled, the official press preview for the show. Products entered in the competition were judged by a panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products.

SanDisk Corporation’s launch party on the famous Sunset Strip this past weekend was filled with an exclusive group of celebrities, musicians, SanDisk key clients and the world’s media enjoying VIP treatment in three of the most exclusive venues on Sunset Strip. Lucky guests were treated to exclusive performances from Linkin Park, Common, Z-Trip, Supernatural, Cut Chemist and The Crystal Method, all of whom performed in the top three legendary clubs in Los Angeles. The SanDisk event was the first time the Viper Room, The Roxy and the Key Club were simultaneously reserved for a single event by one company.

The Sansa Shaker is not so much an example of an abundance of functionalities in one device, but with its child-friendly design it is aiming at a special target group; the younger consumer of about 8 years of age. The SanDisk Sansa MP3 player is equipped with, especially for children, innovative and appealing possibilities such as the 'shake function, where the name SanDisk Sansa Shaker obviously stems from.

SanDisk announced the availability of the Sansa TakeTV video player, a breakthrough media player that gives users smart, convenient and affordable way to move digital video content from their personal computer to the TV. More capacity and fast transfer speeds are the chief benefits of the SanDisk Extreme III 8GB SDHC flash memory card, which was introduced by SanDisk. This and other imaging products from SanDisk will be displayed in Booth 1808 at PhotoPlus 2007 International Conference & Expo, which opens Thursday at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The 8GB SanDisk Extreme III SDHC card can store more than 4,000 high-resolution photos or up to 16 hours of MPEG 4 video. The SDHC flash memory card has a read/write speed of 20 megabytes per second, thus providing rapid downloads to a personal computer.

Jeff Kost will be senior vice president and general manager of the SanDisk Mobile Consumer Solutions division. A 10 year SanDisk veteran, Jeff Kost previously was the company’s vice president for the mobile handset business. During his decade-long tenure at SanDisk, Jeff Kost has held a variety of positions like distribution sales manager, director of Americas OEM sales, and his recent posts as vice president for worldwide OEM sales and also vice president of its Handset Business.
