The new Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 camcorders also feature Samsung’s stylish Touch of Colorä (ToCä) finish that was first introduced in the company’s line of flat‑panel High Definition TVs. With ToC design, a hint of color is naturally blended into the deep black body for an attractive crystalline appearance. The Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10 digital camcorders will be available in July 2009.

Samsung Electronics, a leading mobile phone provider, unveiled the Samsung I7500, its first Android-powered mobile phone. With a launch of Samsung I7500, Samsung became the first company among the global top three mobile phone manufacturers to unveil an Android cell phone. Samsung announced the N110 and N120 as the newest additions to their mini notebook lineup. The Samsung N110 and N120 mini notebooks are both currently available through online retailers with an MSRP of $469 and $459, respectively. The Samsung N110 mini notebook's compact design, 10.27'' (W) x 1.19'' (H) x 7.3'' (D), is lightweight and capable of being stowed in a briefcase or travel bag. Samsung Mobile announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Mondi, the most advanced mobile WiMAX enabled handheld device in the U.S. The touch screen Mondi, which takes its name from the Latin word for “world,” is designed for use with the Clear mobile WiMAX service from Clearwire. The Samsung Mondi carries many of the powerful features and uses of a laptop computer or netbook, but its compact slider form factor easily fits into the hand or pocket. GPS Navigation provided by Route 66 adds to the Mondi’s versatility. Available in a solid black finish, the Samsung Mondi extends horizontally to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.

Samsung introduces a new business smartphone. The Samsung Propel Pro, a full-QWERTY silver and chrome compact slider smartphone with Windows Mobile 6.1 operating software allows users to run full enterprise applications on the same platform they use to text and send photos. Evolving from the popular Samsung Propel, business users and consumers looking for a full-feature smartphone with Wi-Fi will look to the Samsung Propel Pro, available in April for $149.99.

Text messaging and mobile e-mail are still the 'killer app' for mobile phone data use and AT&T mobile is responding with a great new cell phone for the Spring season. AT&T announced the Samsung Magnet mobile phone that make it easier for customers to message with friends and family and manage their business and personal lives on-the-go.

Samsung introduces the Samsung Impression touch screen mobile phone. The nation's first commercially available AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) screen results in one of the brightest and clearest displays in the United States and is paired with a keyboard underneath an amazingly slim, metallic blue quick messaging phone that's all touch screen on the outside, all buttons on the inside. The Samsung Impression smartphone has an included 3.0 megapixel camcorder-capable digital camera, 3.2-inch screen and full browser to maximize every pixel of color. The Samsung Impression multimedia handset will go on sale for $199.99.

Nowadays, it seems to have become a trend to launch a new model mobile phone with both a type number and a real name. Just like many other brands, Samsung too gives its new mobile phones a genuine name. Recently, we have seen this happening with the Samsung INNOV8, the Samsung OMNIA, and now once again with the Samsung Pixon. In addition to a more positive feeling, this name-giving also offers information about the cell phone, unlike a type number. Pixon naturally refers to the integrated 8 Megapixel digital camera.
