During a crowded Summer Millionaire Fair 2009 in hotel 'Huis ter Duin' in Noordwijk aan zee, the Netherlands, Samsung officially launched two new Samsung mobile phones, the Samsung Omnia II and the Omnia Qwerty. Like its predecessor, the Samsung Omnia II comes in a so-called Millionaire pack. In addition to the Omnia II phone, the Omnia Millionaire Pack II contains a luxury leather travel case, a voucher for the Millionaire magazine, and a chance to win exclusive prizes.

Many famous Dutch celebrities, business relations, designers and press guests witnessed the introduction by Samsung Mobile of the new Samsung LadyPhone: the Samsung Allure S. The location of the spectacular introduction; the Amsterdam church called 'the Pigeon', was certainly appreciated. The building had been turned into one huge catwalk with room for guests along both sides to enjoy an evening full of entertainment.

The Samsung Pixon looks a bit like the Omnia, although the Pixon is in fact an entirely different phone with Samsung's operating system, and a higher resolution digital camera. The Samsung Pixon M8800 is Samsung's latest cameraphone. The combination of an 8 Megapixel digital camera, a large touchscreen monitor, HSDPA and a neat appearance, certainly creates great expectations. The Samsung i8510, also known as the Samsung INNOV8, is a slider phone featuring an 8.0 Megapixel digital camera. The Samsung Omnia is a neat mobile phone offering much functionality. Samsung has equipped the Omnia i900 with a 5.0 megapixel digital camera, GPS-receiver, Windows Mobile software, HSDPA and a large touchscreen. At this time, the Omnia is the flagship of Samsung, however, whether the phone is actually able to compete with other mobile phones of the smartphone line in daily life, is yet to be seen and can be read in the full Omnia product review.
