The Samsung i8910, also known as Samsung Omnia HD, is the world's first mobile phone enabling video capture and play-back in High Definition. Video capture is becoming increasingly popular, not only in a digital camera or traditional camcorder, but also, more and more often High Definition video is enabled by a mobile phone. Many famous Dutch celebrities, business relations, designers and press guests witnessed the introduction by Samsung Mobile of the new Samsung LadyPhone: the Samsung Allure S. The location of the spectacular introduction; the Amsterdam church called 'the Pigeon', was certainly appreciated. The building had been turned into one huge catwalk with room for guests along both sides to enjoy an evening full of entertainment.

The Samsung Pixon looks a bit like the Omnia, although the Pixon is in fact an entirely different phone with Samsung's operating system, and a higher resolution digital camera. The Samsung Pixon M8800 is Samsung's latest cameraphone. The combination of an 8 Megapixel digital camera, a large touchscreen monitor, HSDPA and a neat appearance, certainly creates great expectations.
