Galaxy S4 mini storage capacity

The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini has an internal storage capacity of 8GB, of which 5GB remains free, considering that the Android Jelly Bean operating system takes up about 3GB. No worries for fans that like to save large multimedia files on their smartphone, of course a microSD card can also be added, up to a maximum of 64GB. The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini’s internal memory is a bit on the small side, but in combination with a microSD memory card, this does not have to be a problem at all.

Downloading Samsung Galaxy S4 mini apps

In addition to the applications that Samsung has added to the S4 mini, you can download unlimited paid and free apps from Google’s Play Store. There are also many ‘Widgets’ pre-installed on the smartphone that can easily be placed on the start screen. When you synchronize your old smartphone with a Google account, you can install your old apps automatically to the Galaxy S4 mini if you like. By holding down the home button in the start screen, you can see which applications are active.

S apps Galaxy S4 mini

Samsung has added a number of S apps to the existing applications on the Galaxy S4 mini. This smartphone is equipped with an S Planner, S Translator, S Memo, and S Voice. Samsung’s S Voice is comparable with Siri on the Apple iOS operating system. S Voice on the Galaxy S4 mini works exceptionally well and this way, different phone functions are accessible, simply by voice command. Additionally, the S Translator app is very handy when you are abroad, although you must have access to the internet, via a WiFi connection, for example.

Samsung WatchOn app

The Samsung WatchOn app is perhaps the most interesting application that the Galaxy S4 mini has. Via the WatchOn app, you can use the smartphone as a remote control for the television. This is fairly easy to use, and several televisions can be connected to the S4 mini this way. You must keep in consideration that this will happen via an infrared connection, which means that you have to point the smartphone at the television. From now on, you no longer need a remote control or TV guide, Samsung WatchOn offers it all, and it works fine.
