Galaxy S4 Zoom processor

S amsung claims that the Galaxy S4 Zoom is a ‘powerful smartphone and a high-end camera’. How powerful the smartphone is mostly depends on the processor. This determines the calculation capacity and therefore the speed with which tasks are processed. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is equipped with a 1.5Ghz Dual-Core processor. Our first reaction: hmm...no quad core. That is too bad, and this was our main criticism of the Galaxy Mega. This 1.7Ghz dual-core smartphone often froze up for us when we used heavy applications. Honestly, the Galaxy S4 Zoom is no different; there are a few glitches here and there. It does not all work so smoothly. This is also due to the applications that are developed these days; they are becoming more detailed and therefore require processors that are more powerful. Every 'Galaxy S4 Collection’ device should be equipped with a quad core processor. However, the phone never froze during photography, this all runs smoothly and quickly.

Samsung Galaxy S4 battery duration

2,300 mAh Li-Ion battery

Due to the Galaxy S4 Zoom’s unique design, the battery compartment has moved. There is a flap that leads to the battery on the bottom of the device. The SIM card is also introduced here. A 2.300 mAh Li-Ion battery powers the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. This battery delivers a maximum standby time of 570 hours and 13 hours of talk time. When you use the internet often or watch a lot of videos, this battery duration decreases quickly. You should be able to last one day with the Galaxy S4 Zoom, but that is about it.

microSDHC memory

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom has an 8GB internal memory A small 3GB is used by the system itself. Luckily, it is possible to extend the memory itself, with a memory card. This is recommended because one photo already takes up more than 4MB and a video of 15 sec. takes up 30MB. Just like the battery compartment, the microSDHC card slot has changed its location, this has moved to the bottom left side. Both compartments close off well and are easy to open.
