HTC One conclusion

I s the HTC One truly the number one smartphone at the moment? Before I started this review, I was a bit pessimistic. I was never completely convinced of the Sensation series that the Taiwanese company produced up to two years ago, but with the One series, HTC has put itself back on the map. Earlier we were already satisfied with the HTC One SV, but now that we have had our hands on the HTC One, we are certain that HTC is prepared to give their competition a run for their money. At the end of the test period, I must conclude that this is truly the new number 1 smartphone!

The sleek aluminum body gives this Android phone a high-quality and solid appearance. The 4.7" touchscreen is crystal clear, and the smartphone is very user-friendly. The HTC One reacts fast and stable, and the battery performance is also exceptional. The new functions that are included in the HTC Sense 5 interface, such as Zoe, BlinkFeed, and BoomSound are all three fantastically well elaborated, and you will also use them on a daily basis. That is also an immediate and important difference with the Galaxy S4, as Samsung has focused on operating the phone with your face and hand gestures, HTC has given new life to basic functions. In my opinion, they did a good job of it!

In any case, I am pleasantly surprised with the HTC One’s performance and functions. If we have to make any critiques, we quickly resort to small things such as the fact that the memory is not extendable. Additionally, the suggested retail price of € 699 is quite high.
