Speed of the HTC One SV

There is a Qualcomm S4 1.2GHz Dual-core processor with 1GB RAM memory under the hood, considering the price of the HTC One SV, it is a very fast processor. The only thing slowing down the phone a bit is HTC’s Sense interface, which is a relatively heavy application, but due to the good processor, this is not too much of a nuisance. Although we were not so positive about the One SV’s camera, we are positive about this phone’s processor, which adds value to the phone’s entire user experience. The HTC smartphone actually never freezes, does not stop, and despite the heavy Sense interface, everything runs smoothly.

4.3 inch LCD-2 screen

The HTC One SV’s 4.3-inch LCD2 display does not disappoint in terms of size and clarity, for the price of the smartphone. The screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 2 layer, so that the screen also feels nice and is easy to operate. The colors on the screen are displayed nicely and even under direct sunlight, the screen is still relatively clear. The disadvantage of the screen is the resolution of only 480 x 800 pixels; this is on the low side for this size. In this price class, there are phones with higher resolution screens, but except for the resolution, the screen is not bad.

HTC One SV’s Stand-by time

The HTC One SV comes with a Li-ion battery that can be removed after taking off the phone’s back cover. This battery has a capacity of 1800mAh and therefore a larger capacity than most phones in this segment, which is noticeable in the HTC One SV’s stand-by time. With normal use, the battery lasts up to two days, while most smartphones these days have to be charged daily. Of course, the HTC One SV also has to be charged daily with intensive use.

HTC One SV with Beats Audio

Just like many other HTC phones, the One SV has Beats Audio. The true Beats Audio sound quality is hard to hear via the built-in speakers. When you connect true Beats Audio headphones this definitely makes a difference and the quality is very good. With the HTC One SV’s built-in speakers, the sound is not bad, but also not great. HTC’s headphones that come included are of reasonable quality, but in order to experience studio quality, as HTC calls it, more expensive headphones (from Beats Audio) are required.
