Nokia Lumia 620 digital camera
Shooting photos with the Lumia 620
The Nokia Lumia 620 has a 5 megapixel digital camera and it is equipped with an autofocus with a two-phase shutter release button. There is also a second camera available on the front with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, for video calling or for taking self-portraits. The Lumia 620’s 5 megapixel camera can zoom in to a maximum of 4x digital zoom. This Nokia smartphone’s camera function can be activated at all times by pushing the camera button on the right side of the phone. It is also possible to place the digital ‘tile’ on the start screen via the applications.

Recording HD videos with the Nokia Lumia 620
Next to the 5 megapixel digital camera and the camera on the front, the Nokia Lumia 620 also has an HD video function. In the camera application, you can switch from photo to video recording. The maximum resolution of the Lumia 620 videos is 720p (HD, 1280 x 720). The maximum zoom of 4x (digital zoom) is also available in the video function. With sufficient light, the videos are of good quality and the images are sharp. In low or insufficient light, the Nokia Lumia 620’s videos are very dark. Still, we can conclude that the price/quality ratio is at a very high level.

Listening to music on the Lumia 620
The Nokia Lumia 620 has the ‘Nokia Music’ app where all your music is saved, among other things. Transferring Music from a PC to the Nokia Lumia smartphone goes quickly and easily. A handy addition within ‘Nokia Music’ is Mix-radio. By first choosing a music genre, you can then choose different tracks from a wide selection of music, which you can listen to both online and offline. In Nokia’s ‘Music Store’ you can buy your favorite music and then via ‘Concerts’ you can get information about future concerts of the singer or band that you like, in your area.

Sharing files with the Nokia 620
Sharing photos on the Nokia Lumia 620 with another smartphone or PC is quick and easy via Bluetooth. Of course the other device also needs to have Bluetooth. Seeing that all Nokia 620 users have 7GB in cloud storage via Microsoft SkyDrive, photos and videos can be shared there as well. Unfortunately, the resolution of the photos and videos that are shared via SkyDrive is automatically reduced. Files can also be exchanged via social media and as an attachment in an email. On the Nokia Lumia 620, files can be saved onto the microSD card as well as the microSIM.
