Galaxy Y test conclusion

W ith the Galaxy Y, Samsung has introduced an Android smartphone with many functions, which is accessible to a broad public. That is certainly the case, with a price just over € 100, (at the moment the most inexpensive device-only Galaxy Y costs only € 105). Also in terms of performance and functions that are possible through the Android 2.3 operating system, the Samsung Y can surely compete with more expensive smartphones on the market. Besides, the Galaxy Y has a very user-friendly operation thanks to Samsung’s Touchwiz interface. We have to add that the digital camera without autofocus leaves a lot to be desired. In conclusion, we can say that the Samsung Galaxy Y, especially considering its low price, is a fine smartphone with a 832 Mhz processor that is powerful enough to do justice to the Android 2.3 operating system.
