Samsung Galaxy S3 review

T he Samsung Galaxy S3, or the Galaxy S III I9300, is by far the most talked-about phone of 2012. Early last month, Samsung introduced this new high-end Android smartphone at an event organized especially for the occasion, in London. What makes this smartphone so special? A quad-core processor, a crystal clear 4.8" HD Super AMOLED screen, an 8-megapixel camera and all the advantages of Google Android. That is not all; this phone is Intelligent and Understands what you mean. You can talk to the phone, in order to open a certain menu, for example, without even picking up the phone.

We took the brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 with us to test it out in practice. Our experiences can be read in the following Samsung Galaxy S3 review.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Android smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been available in stores for the past few days, in the colors Pebble Blue en Ceramic White, but sales actually began earlier. Samsung announced that 9 million pre-orders were placed worldwide. This makes the Galaxy S3 the most popular phone ever! The fact that the Samsung Galaxy S3 runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is definitely a bonus, but there are many other Android smartphones that are less popular. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is so special because the smartphone understands the user. For example, while typing a text message, you think that you had better phone that person, by simply holding the phone to your ear, the Galaxy S3 understands your intentions, and starts dialing.

Samsung Galaxy S3 operation

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a slim, elegant smartphone that is a bit bigger than its predecessor, the popular Galaxy S2, thanks to its 4.8" HD Super AMOLED screen. Due to the shiny backside, the phone does slide out of your hand a bit faster. The AMOLED screen is very bright and clear and the fast 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor contributes to a fluid, fast operation. The smartphone experience is improved even more by means of diverse handy new functions. The camera on the front also functions as a sensor so that the Galaxy S3 knows when you are reading text, so that the screen remains lit and is not turned off automatically after x number of seconds. These are small differences, but very handy.
