HTC Sensation review | Introduction
HTC Sensation review
G oogle’s Android operating system is very popular. As the first Android provider, HTC is reaping the benefits with a wide assortment of Android smartphones. A recent Nielson study shows that Android is the biggest in the U.S. with 39%, followed by Apple’s iOS with 28%, and RIM BlackBerry with 20%. The advantage of Android, of course, is the collaboration with diverse manufacturers, of which HTC is the biggest with 14%, followed by Motorola (11%) and Samsung (8%). There is a lot of movement and selection, when looking at operating systems. Computer manufacturer HP bought up Palm for more than a billion Euros, so that they could own the operating system WebOS. After disappointing sales results of an HP tablet and smartphone, it seems that they are trying to sell the WebOS again. Only the manufacturers do not seem too interested.

HTC Sensation retail package
The HTC Sensation comes in a sleek packaging with a large image of the smartphone on the front. All of the HTC cell phone’s specifications are found on the back. The box has a drawer that opens up to the HTC Sensation. The accessories are found underneath. For the HTC Sensation, this means the user’s guide, a headset with built-in remote control and a charger/data cable.

HTC Sensation mobile phone
The first impression of the HTC Sensation is pretty good. The smartphone is very similar to the HTC Desire, due to the rounded corners, except for a set of four touch keys on the bottom. The screen is very large and next to power button and volume keys, a headset connection and a microUSB connection are found. I personally do not find the back very appealing, due to all the colors and stripes, but the phone is comfortable to handle.
