LG GW620 test conclusion

T he fact that LG has also chosen the Android platform is a wise choice. Important developments have been made in this domain and the brands that are not (yet) using Android are falling behind. The use of Android in the new LG GW620 smartphone is well done. Next to the standard menu, there is also the LG menu, so that the LG GW620 Android smartphone gets its own feeling. You can choose which menu you want to use. The Android platform guarantees a good synchronization with your Google-account. Although, emailing proved to be slow. The internet can be used well on the phone. The fast Google start toolbar, the Android market and the access to different Social Network sites are all included. It is also very easy to type with the QWERTY-keyboard, although fast typers will properly experience a bit of delay. The digital camera is slow to capture and process images, but the result is pretty good. Personally I found it uncomfortable to handle and the touch screen does not react fast enough.

In sum, the LG GW620 is a neat smartphone; it is certainly a nice addition to the assortment. As the first LG Android phone, the LG GW620 is a successful debut.
