Samsung HD review rating

T he Samsung i8910 HD is a mobile phone providing many functionalities and a sleek design. The silver border and the shiny black finish make the phone look luxurious, although it also makes this phone scratch- prone. The AMOLED screen is extremely sharp, and the touchscreen works very smoothly. The Symbian software runs well, especially in combination with the touchscreen. Internet is enabled by WiFi and HSDPA. Due to the sizeable virtual keyboard, the Samsung Omnia HD smartphone is also suitable for typing extensive email and text messages. The 8.0 megapixel digital camera creates beautiful images, especially in favorable light conditions. The camera application is fast and clear, however, the shutter lag is annoying and so is the slow picture processing. The video quality, which is the centre of the marketing campaign around the Samsung Omnia HD, is a bit disappointing. The video format is large and therefore definitely better than other mobile phones, but the quality is still less than I expected.
