Special edition of the Garmin Edge 705 bike computer

The Garmin Team is supported by a special edition of the de Garmin Edge 705 bike computer. The Edge 705 features innovative biking technology, among which compatibility with SRM (Schoberer Rad Messtechnik) sensors which are able to measure the power ('wattage') through a refined chip in the pedal set. This wireless connection lets you read this data on your device, but not only that; also your GPS position, heart rate, bike speed, cadence, height and level angle. The flat, orange and blue Team Garmin edition of the Edge 705 was clearly viewable when the bikes were parked near the team buses at the beginning of Stage 13.

The Garmin Edge 705 comes with a heart rate monitor, bike speed and cadence sensor, and features a microSD memory card slot for additional maps. The Team Garmin riders share their data with the aid of the ANT+wireless technology.
