HTC Magic test conclusion

T he HTC Magic is a solid and extremely stylish mobile phone. The 3.2 Megapixel camera allows you to capture special moments at all times, offering remarkably fine pictures. The large, always well-responding touchscreen is easy to operate, although the Android menu structure does need time to get used to. However, once you have found out how it all works, it is in fact simple. Wi-FI and HSDPA ensure you always have the Internet within reach. The HTC Magic Google smartphone guarantees a complete Internet experience, in addition to the many internet sites that can be displayed; the YouTube application can be used to watch streaming videos. Google applications such as Gmail and Google Maps are standard installed and easy to use. Although the HTC Magic smartphone is often compared to the Apple iPhone, there is no consensus on this matter. I think they have similarities; both popular mobile phones feature an extremely well-working touchscreen and a stable operating system, which are two very important features that form both phones.

The menu structure and application possibilities then become a very personal thing. I do think the iPhone is ahead when it comes to the multimedia area, thanks to its integrated iPod functionality. Which one of the two mobile phones is the best; I will leave that an open question! It may be clear though that the HTC Magic is a mobile phone with great potential.
