Qstarz GPS travel recorder review | Rating & Conclusion
USB travel recorder
Qstarz GPS memory
There is no mention in the specifications of the amount of memory and the memory cannot be expanded. Nor is it possible to erase tracks of the travel recorder. The recorder will automatically overwrite the first track as soon as the memory is full. If you don't want this to happen, you can adjust the setting in the software. A memory bar is displayed in the software, so it should not come as a surprise to you when the memory is (almost) full.

Battery & Bluetooth support
The removable and rechargeable 1100mAh Li-Ion battery is able to provide energy for 42 hours on the go. This is certainly a very economical battery. As mentioned before, the Qstarz GPS receiver can be set to Nav mode which lights up the blue Bluetooth LED icon. This enables the travel recorder to be connected to a PDA or smartphone. Furthermore the Qstarz GPSView software offers the so-called 'eXtreme 5Hz sport' mode. This mode provides an even higher sensitivity for using the GPS receiver during extreme sports.
