Media menu operation
In addition to the touch keys at the bottom, the LG Secret hides a secret in the standard monitor. Upon pressing the key on the right side of the mobile phone, a menu will open: 'Media through the touchscreen'. This way, the monitor turns into a touchscreen and a variety of media can be called up, such as music, picture, FM radio, games and documents. This option is quite striking and odd at the same time; why not always have a touchscreen option if it is supported by the phone? I think in the standard menu, it would also prove its surplus value. Either way; this combination makes the LG Secret quite unique indeed. Once the touchscreen is activated, it is easy to operate. The mobile phone has a superb response and the touchscreen is very sturdy which gives a pleasant feel. When touching the touchscreen, you also feel a slight vibration.

The menu of the LG Secret is quite comprehensible. The touch keys can be set to function as shortcuts and the main menu is accessible by pressing the silver confirmation button. The menu consists of 12 icons and looks neat. All is clearly displayed and easy to find. The only disadvantage we encountered is the delay of the touch keys when you're a little deeper in the menu. In general, things really could have been a tad smoother. Now, it happens that you press a button twice because you think it's not responding. And in the main menu, the icons are accompanied by figures that are shortcuts. It makes things easier, however; the numbers do annoy somewhat at the same time, because the color is so different. The menu itself is simple and clear.

The LG Secret can be used perfectly as a multimedia player thanks to several positive features. This enables the use of the full touch screen with multimedia files; the media player then offers a completely different interface, both of which are very well manageable. The full touch screen makes operation slightly easier. Many file formats are supported; even DIVX video files can be played on the LG Secret.

The Media menu of the handset displays all the multimedia available on the phone and, additionally, the media on the memory card is also displayed. This is very convenient, since it means you don't have to access the memory card separately, although starting the list of audio files for example, does take somewhat longer. The mobile phone appears to scan for available content every time you view the media.

In addition to playing video files, you can also capture video clips or edit them with the LG KF750 Secret. The phone offers quite extensive software for this. For example; there is a function to record a music video. You can select a sound fragment on the phone, and whilst that is playing, you are able to record your own video clip.
