HTC S740 review | Introduction
HTC S740 review
C ommunication is simply part of today’s world. Communication in different ways: personal contact, via phone or email and text messages. Everybody wants to be available 24/7. This fact did not escape the attention of the communication market. On the contrary, this market contributed highly to the digitalization of the current society. The demand for devices that help to simplify our communication has increased considerably. Particularly devices that combine all forms of communication; the so-called smartphones. Within a couple of years only, HTC grew to become a dominating smartphone brand. Where HTC primarily aimed at the corporate market with its handsets at first, the company nowadays also aims at the private phone market. The HTC S740 smartphone again is a good example of this. The handset is compact, yet enhanced when it comes to functionality. The mobile phone features Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, full Internet access and Office Mobile, among other things.

The package of the HTC S740 smart phone is as simple as it is smart. A small square box that closes with a magnet. Upon opening the package, the cell phone becomes visible, lying elegantly in black foam. Hiding underneath the HTC are a stereo headset and a USB charger that can also be used as data cable. It’s striking to see two items missing: a software CD and a memory card.

Design of the HTC S740 cell phone
The HTC S740 cell phone in itself looks neat with a 2.4 inch TFT LCD monitor that smoothly turns into keys. The back of the handset features a subtle design with a relief of several triangles. However, the most striking thing about the HTC S740 mobile phone is indeed the push-open QWERTY keyboard.
