Extensive Essentials software

The included Motozine ZN5 Essentials software offers three options: Kodak software, Motorola Phone Tools and Motozine ZN5 Tutorials. The Kodak software transfers pictures from the phone to the computer and offers the possibility to share or print these online. Synchronizing contacts, calendar and tasks is carried out through the Motorola Phone Tools, and last but not least; the Motozine ZN5 Tutorials teach you how to get the most out of your Motorola ZN5. The software is well-structured and easy to use.

Expandable microSDHC memory

The internal memory of the Motorola ZN5 is 350MB. However, due to the fast and high resolution digital camera, this memory capacity is used up before you know it. A captured picture generates one to one and a half MB. Fortunately, you can expand the memory with the use of a microSD/SDHC memory card. If you want to store various multimedia files on the Motorola ZN5, it might be wise to purchase a separate memory card. Memory cards up to 4GB are supported by the ZN5.

Motorola ZN5 battery

A ccording to the specifications, the included 3.7V 920mAh Lithium Ion battery, type BX50, should last for a talk-time of 9.5 hours and a standby time of 580 hours. During testing, the battery lasted for about a day and a half if I was taking lots of pictures on the go and using WiFi. It should last about a day or four if generally used.
