Sony MP3 test conclusion

M any MP3 players of today’s market offer voice recording, radio and several more functions. The Sony Walkman NWZ-A826 does not offer any of these functions and I must admit, I didn’t miss them in the slightest. The emphasis on this MP3 player lies on playing music and as logical as this may sound, for many MP3 players it is not clear where the emphasis lies. This Walkman does offer a video / photo viewer which works exactly as it should work. Even though these are nice additions, I am fully focussed on the music quality. And the latter surprised me in a very pleasant way. A clear, vivid sound is produced with an excellent bass and thanks to the many music options that this MP3 player offers; you can get the most out of the music sound. A flat and attractive design completes this music player. Truly, my first thought when examining this MP3 player was disbelief about the options it was said to offer; I would never have guessed there would be that many. I was wrong, thankfully. The Sony A826 offers everything I expect from an MP3 player. A nice appearance, excellent sound and all the options you need visualized by an ultra bright and large monitor.

Sony Walkman MP3 review

I can only think of three small minus points: the included software not working as it should, the earset sounding muffled with environmental noise and the memory that isn’t enhanceable. Other than that, this Sony Walkman A826 offers everything you need, and more.
