The Samsung G810 comes with a standard 3.7V Lithium-Ion battery of Samsung. While testing, the battery lasted for five days before it needed a recharge. This is reasonable although I only scarcely used the digital camera. If the phone is used averagely, the battery will of course last longer.

If you connect the Samsung G810 to the computer via a USB cable, the following options will appear on the screen of the mobile phone: 'Print image', 'Media player', 'PC studio' and 'Data transfer'. The latter offers direct access to the memory card in your handset. If you have installed PC studio software and you select 'PC Studio' on the screen of your mobile phone, you can make use of various options to manage your files, such as Phone editor, Message management, PC synchronization and Phone explorer.

T he Samsung G810 allows for opening and reading various Office files with Quickoffice and PDF files with Adobe PDF reader. This enables you to view documents and not spend your time in vain whilst travelling by train, for example. The secondary camera on the front of the Samsung allows you to make video calls with the G810, providing the receiver of the call also has this option at his disposal. This gives a special and personal touch to the contacts with your family and friends, and can also be great fun. To adjust the standby mode of the Samsung G810 to your own preference, you can activate the active standby mode. It allows you to add six preference options to the quick link bar in the standby mode. In addition, all recent appointments from the agenda are displayed on the screen and one click lets you have access to day reproduction. The last active standby item is the Google search that offers direct access to the current digital encyclopaedia.
