PhotoTrackr Conclusion

T he GPS Photo Locator PhotoTrackr DPL700 is a compact device; remarkably easy to carry with you. Configuration of the included software requires putting some effort into but once finished the software is very user-friendly. Adding the correct PhotoTrackr data to the correct pictures happens fast and accurate. The result is beautiful and it offers the ideal solution for people travelling a lot and writing reports on their journeys. The 'Auto Power On / Off' function helps to keep the battery going for a long time. The price of 80 Euros seems reasonable to me and is a tad less than that of its competitor: the Sony GPS-CS1. Transferring pictures to the desired 'photo-sharing' website is easy with just pressing the button once. All in all the Gisteq PhotoTrackr DPL700 is an excellently working device with outstanding software included. It is very suitable for making a digital book of travels and for photographers who want to know exactly where a picture was taken. Apart from these application possibilities, there are many other situations where the PhotoTrackr could come in handy.

Gisteq PhotoTrackr DPL700 review

For example; a real estate agent taking pictures of houses will be able to tell the exact location of the houses on the pictures thanks to PhotoTrackr. Personally I thought of another possibility and I have put the PhotoTrackr in my girlfriend's car to see if she is as honest as she says she is about where she goes… this is where the review ends….;-)
