G isteq Corporation is a young company, founded in 2006. Gisteq develops software and solutions to the specifications of manufacturers and other companies. Gisteq's latest product is the PhotoTrackr GPS Photo Locator DPL700. The Gisteq DPL700 allows you to record and review your trip and the exact location where pictures were taken with your digital camera or mobile phone. The PhotoTrackr GPS Photo Locater will show you exactly where you have travelled and the exact location and time of your pictures. In our PhotoTrackr DPL700 review we have tested the GPS Photo Locator on the Veluwe, a woody region in the Netherlands.

The PhotoTrackr DPL 700 comes in a square white box with on the top of it an image of the included software. Apart from the Gisteq PhotoTrackr DPL700 we also find in the box; a USB cable, a carabiner, a software CD and an AA battery. You're supposed to attach the carabiner to the PhotoTrackr and then to your trousers so you won't lose the device. The included software is compatible with both Windows XP and Windows Vista.

The GPS Photo Locator DPL 700 we have tested is a black version. The weight of the Gisteq PhotoTrackr is 67 grams, battery included. The dimensions are (LxWxH) 2.89 x 1.30 x 1.23 inches. The mini-USB connection is found at the bottom of the PhotoTrackr. Furthermore there are 3 indicators, indicating when a connection is established with a GPS signal, when the battery is almost empty and when the device is connected with a computer. The only button on the Gisteq PhotoTrackr 700 is the on / off button. The battery of the Gisteq PhotoTrackr lasts for more than 10 hours.
