Pantech Wireless, Inc., the US-based subsidiary of Pantech Group, Korea’s leading mobile phone manufacturer, announced the release of the Pantech C3b. The enhanced phone adds Bluetooth functionality to the already popular “world’s smallest camera flip-phone” family of handsets and will be available to AT&T subscribers. The Pantech C3b incorporates the convenience of Bluetooth along with mobile email, multimedia messaging and VGA camera - all in a convenient and compact form factor. The Pantech C3b can also be customized with a variety of changeable color faceplates and is yet another example of Pantech’s belief that a handset should reflect a customer’s personal style.

Pantech Group, the leading Korean handset manufacturer, has announced the launch of the IM-R200 handset, the latest dual-LCD sliding phone equipped with an OLED touch-sensitive screen. Separated from its main LCD display, the new phone does away with the standard keypad in favor of a brand-new LCD-typed keypad. When sliding up, the virtual keypad shows up on the LCD that is touch-sensitive, allowing users to dial numbers and view contacts with a stroke of a finger.

Pantech Wireless, will be showcasing a wide-array of handsets, demonstrating the company's best-of-breed style and commitment to innovation, at spring CTIA. Pantech will debut five new North American handsets, a variety of leading designs from around the world and even concept phones, at the Orange County Convention Center, booth # 3978 in Orlando, Fla., March 27 - 29, 2007. In 2006, Pantech proved itself a contender in the North American wireless market with the introduction of the popular "world's smallest camera flip phone" family of handsets, as well as signing partnerships with major carriers and MVNO's including Cingular Wireless, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Helio, Disney Mobile and Alltel.

The wave of “Mini & Slim” is leading the trend in the world handset markets. Pantech Group, Korea’s leading mobile phone manufacturer, today unveiled three stylish new handsets to be made available in Argentina and announced plans to capture at least 10 percent of the Argentine mobile phone market by the end of 2007. The new products, the PG-3810, PG-1310V and the PG-1610 will be offered through CTI Movil, the Argentine affiliate of America Movil, the largest mobile carrier in Latin America. Keon C. Kim, Senior Vice President, Overseas Sales, Pantech Group, said: “Argentina is integral to our efforts to further expand in Latin America. Pantech Group, the leading Korean handset manufacturer, today announced that it has signed a landmark agreement with Orange - the second biggest mobile service carrier in Europe, - to supply branded UMTS phones in France. The agreement with Orange, which is also the largest mobile service carrier in France, with around 23 million subscribers, marks Pantech’s first partnership with a Europe-based global mobile operator.

Pantech Group, the number two mobile phone manufacturer in South Korea, today announced that it has signed an agreement for the supply of its compact PN-218 handset to Alltel Wireless, owner and operator of America's largest wireless network. Pantech Group (Sung Kyu, Lee, President&CEO of International Operations), announced its marketing strategy in Argentina by establishing its branch in the end of August. Pantech’s marketing in Argentine market started in December of 2005 supplying Pantech branded PG3210 phone to CTI Movil, the No.2 telecommunication operator, an affiliate of No.1 telecommunication group “America Movil” in Central and South America, has now overcome difficulties at initial time in the market and is showing fast growth.
