As an enthusiastic consumer you have just figured out that the next cell phone that you will purchase should come equipped with Google Android. So now you decide to leave your lazy internet chair to go and have a look in the telecom shop around the corner. Just by poking around, you already noticed that Android is not just Android, but that there’s Google Android 2.0, Android 1.5, or was it Android 1.6? And more questions come up: Are all Android phones equipped with a multi-touch function, or does that depend on the telephone manufacturer? Now you realize that things are not getting any clearer. One thing is for sure: Google Android OS is hot!

What's up with all these sugar candy names and mobile phones? If you were strong enough to keep away from the LG Chocolate, and if you were then able to resist, albeit only barely, the NTT DOCOMO design phone with its chocolate layer, you will be tried again when the LG GU280 Popcorn phone becomes available. At this moment, the new LG cell phone has been announced in Italy, however, we expect the LG Popcorn to be available outside Italian borders too. The LG GU280 or LG Popcorn if you like, comes in a white-pink color. I am curious to see if an LG Lollipop, LG Cherry or LG Strawberry will actually turn up next. Could the marketing department really not come up with a more original name at all?

T-Mobile USA, the wireless leader in offering the broadest selection of Android-powered smartphones in the United States, announce that the Samsung Behold II will be available beginning Nov. 18. The full touch-screen Samsung Behold II, also known as Samsung SGH-t939, is a multimedia powerhouse with fast Web and data supported by Wi-Fi and T-Mobile’s high-speed 3G network. Available exclusively from T-Mobile USA, the Samsung Behold II is the first phone from T-Mobile to feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen for crisper colors and wider viewing angles, which is paired with a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, zoom, flash, five shooting modes and video capabilities.

Just before the holiday season, NTT will launch a new phone of the Docomo Style series. The NTT Docomo SH-04B is a so-called chocolate mobile phone designed by designer Tadaaki Wakamatsu. There is a lot in the pipeline for NTT Docomo during the upcoming winter months. One of the new phones is the NTT Docomo F-04B, a unique mobile phone. The NTT F-04B 3G camera phone belongs to the Docomo PRIME series, which stands for an optimal multimedia experience.

The PRIME series Docomo mobile phones, will be expanded with a new cameraphone in the first quarter of 2010. The NTT Docomo F-01B is a waterproof mobile phone with a high resolution image sensor of 12.2 Megapixels. So even in Japan, where this model will without question be found on the store shelves, they prove susceptible to marketing slogans such as highest resolution. This resolution for a mobile phone is simply absurd, at least with the current technology and application level, however, it does sound great as a specification. The new NTT F-01B waterproof phone will be available in several colors; black, blue and white.
