Lexar Media announced new Lexar Professional Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDXC) memory cards. The new high-capacity Lexar Professional 133x SDXC cards enable the capture, storage, and transfer of extended lengths of 1080p high-definition (HD) video and continuous, rapid-fire image capture in a single, high-performance solution. The Lexar Professional 133x SDXC card is the first available in a 128GB capacity, and is also offered in a 64GB capacity. Both cards are speed rated at 133x, providing a minimum guaranteed transfer speed of 20MB per second, and feature a Class 10 speed designation.

The enormous advance of BlackBerry on the consumer market and a few attractive new cell phones have done the brand good. Partly thanks to BlackBerry Messenger, or Pinging, BlackBerry is here to stay. However, the competition has also been busy, and the enormously popular Android operating system and the Apple iPhone do not make it easy for the BlackBerry product Research In Motion (RIM). This makes us extra curious about the user experiences of the new BlackBerry Torch.

Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), the No.1 mobile phone provider in the United States, announces the Samsung Suede (SCH-r710). This new Samsung handset will debut with the new Cricket Muve Music service in January 2011. The new wireless rate plan, the first to include a music experience designed specifically for the mobile phone, gives Cricket customers unlimited access to millions of songs, ringtones and ringback tones, in addition to unlimited access to voice, Web, text, video and more across Cricket’s nationwide 3G network.

The tablet concept has already existed for a while, but the tablet only really broke through with the arrival of Apple’s flagship, the iPad. The iPad appeals to a large group of users, the majority of which are consumers. Although Apple has gotten a head start because there was no competition, the industry has since woken up. Samsung is one of those manufacturers that sees opportunity and has jumped into Apple’s wake with the new Samsung Galaxy Tab. Additionally, Samsung is aiming at business users and consumers.
