Glu Mobile, a global publisher of mobile games, announced the launch of World Series of Poker Pro Challenge. Fring announced that it has further expanded its mVoIP (mobile VoIP) community by adding all Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0 series devices to its list of compatible handsets. Now fringsters can choose to communicate for free between fring, Skype, Google Talk, MSN Messenger, hundreds of SIP providers and twitter on about 300 Windows Mobile phones and pocket PCs in addition to 20+ Nokia devices over any 3G, GPRS or Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Tubearoo, Inc., with its mission to become one of the world's largest Internet video networks for users to view, upload, and share Internet video, announced that it is beginning the official beta test launch of its Mobile Video Service. Airbus is first to receive airworthiness certification for a cell-phone system on board an aircraft. On 18th June 2007, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved Airbus’ GSM on-board system. The EASA airworthiness certification comes after successful tests were carried out by Airbus earlier this year and confirms the GSM on-board system’s compatibility in the aircraft environment.
