Alltel Wireless, America’s largest network, makes waves this summer with the introduction of the Wave by LG. The phone, exclusively available at Alltel Wireless retail stores and its web site, has a rolling design that mimics the curl of a wave as the deep colors fade into black. The phone includes a 1.3 MP camera with video capabilities, MP3 player with external controls, expandable memory slot, Bluetooth technology and is GPS capable. It also comes preloaded with Alltel Axcess features such as Axcess TV and Axcess Search. Customers can also download games, ringtones and more via Alltel’s Axcess Shop.

(LG Mobile Phones) announced the upcoming availability of a new music phone that provides customers with the ability to quickly and easily experience music on the go - LG Muziq. This innovative device comes packed with industry-leading features, including over-the-air song downloads, a 4GB microSD memory card slot and a built-in FM transmitter allowing customers to listen to their tunes wirelessly through any FM radio within 10 feet. Skyworks Solutions, an innovator of high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors enabling mobile connectivity, announced that it is supporting LG Electronics’ ramp of its record-selling Shine handset. The Shine, which is LG’s second model from its Black Label Series, is leveraging the SKY77340, a highly integrated quad-band EDGE power amplifier - used to support the world’s largest markets in Europe and the United States. Skyworks’ modules are also being utilized across LG’s GPRS and CDMA Chocolate phones, which have sold ten million units globally since the end of 2005. LG’s Shine weighs a mere 115 grams, stemming from its unique stainless steel material base.

LG Electronics are currently market leader on the field of electronics in Korea and claim a considerable market share in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and England where they have been active for some years now. This year, in January 2007 to be precise, LG introduced the LG KE970 Shine. The slogan LG has brought into this world together with the LG Shine is: "Born to shine" which it certainly does! LG will undoubtedly try to make the LG Shine equally successful as the LG Chocolate or even to surpass the latter's success.
