LG G3 S Android smartphone - LG Electronics announced the official launch of LG G3 S, a mid-tier variant of LG’s highly acclaimed LG G3 smartphone. The LG G3 S, also known as LG G3 Beat outside of Europe, was developed to address the growing low- to mid-tier segment of smartphone customers who want a great device that’s more compact but still powerful enough to run the most popular apps. The LG G3 S delivers a similar premium user experience, sophisticated Floating Arc metallic design and fast Laser Auto Focus technology featured in the G3 but in a more compact package dominated by a 5.0-inch thin-bezel display, setting it a class above other similarly priced mid-tier devices.

LG G3 smartphone - Following its strong debut in South Korea, LG Electronics (LG) will begin its global rollout of its highly praised G3 smartphone on June 27. CES 2014 - LG Tab-book 2 hybrid tablet : LG Electronics will be unveiling its second generation Tab-Book 2 hybrid devices (Models 11T740 and 11T540) at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, running from January 7 - 10, 2014. The latest LG Tab-Book 2 models build on the success of LG’s original Tab-Book, which made its first appearance at CES 2013. Running Windows 8.1, both new models in the Tab-Book series are optimized for 10-point touch control and offer slide-out QWERTY keyboards hidden under the11.6-inch touchscreen. With a press of a button on the side of the unit, the keyboard glides smoothly out from beneath the display for immediate action.

LG Knock feature included in L Series II smartphones - LG Electronics announced that its popular Knock feature (formerly known as KnockON) will be included as a standard feature in the company’s key mobile devices in the future while its line of L Series II smartphones will receive Knock through a global Maintenance Release upgrade starting in January 2014. LG Knock was first introduced in LG G2 as a convenient way to turn the smartphone on and off by tapping twice on the display since the power button was located on the back of the phone. Then Knock was featured in a tablet for the first time with the LG G Pad 8.3 followed by the G Flex curved smartphone which also shared the rear button design of the G2.

LG Curved smartphone design - The development of LG G Flex curved smartphone was only possible through the successful collaboration with sister companies LG Display and LG Chem. The 6-inch curved touchscreen is the world’s largest Plastic OLED (POLED) display developed and mass produced specifically for curved smartphones. The amazing thin and flexible POLED display and curved OLED panel are built on plastic substrates instead of glass, giving LG G Flex smartphone its unique shape and durability. The POLED display is brighter and more precise thanks to the application of Real RGB, which contains all three sub-pixels - red, green and blue - in one pixel.

Innovative curved smartphone unveiled by LG Electronics - Setting a new milestone in the evolution of smartphones, LG officially took the wraps off the LG G Flex, a new smartphone curved to follow the contour of the face, the first mobile device to offer such a design in the smartphone market.
