Touchscreens come in a wide array of types and sizes. Naturally, they all serve the same purpose; to operate a mobile phone without using buttons and keys. Yet it is striking to see how they all have a different operation. The main difference is found in press-sensitive and warmth-sensitive touchscreens. Communication is simply part of today’s world. Particularly the demand for devices that combine all forms of communication; the so-called smartphones, increases. Within a couple of years only, HTC grew to become a dominating smartphone brand. Where HTC primarily aimed at the corporate market with its handsets at first, the company nowadays also aims at the private phone market. The HTC S740 smartphone again is a good example of this. The handset is compact, yet enhanced when it comes to functionality. The mobile phone features Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.2 Megapixel camera and Office Mobile, among other things. • Read our HTC S740 smartphone review.
