Harman Kardon announced the introduction of The Bridge II docking station for Apple iPod music players. The Bridge II connects a compatible Apple iPod or Apple iPhone to a Harman Kardon The Bridge-ready audio/video component, and enables expanded iPod capabilities including audio/video playback through a home entertainment system, on-screen iPod menu display, remote control operation, and charging.

Last year, Harman Kardon, Inc., set a new standard in home entertainment with its Digital Lounge systems. Now, five new systems in this product line, with improved equipment features and extended connection options, will be introduced at IFA 2007. The Digital Lounge 232EX has been designed as a 2.1 system comprising a DVD player/receiver, two speakers with subwoofers and a 32-inch liquid-crystal display (LCD) flat-screen TV. The Digital Lounge 240HD system - also a 2.1 system - is supplied with a 1080p Full HD LCD TV with a diagonal screen measurement of 40 inches. The Digital Lounge 632EX is a 5.1 system that provides real movie theater-quality sound; it features a DVD-Audio player/receiver and a 32-inch LCD TV.

Harman/Becker Automotive Systems, a division of U.S.-based Harman International Industries, announced the US launch of a new, technologically advanced mobile navigation system, the Traffic Assist Highspeed 7934.
