AT&T announced the availability of a new Sharp phone,. This new mobile is the first quick messaging phone from Sharp on the AT&T network and the latest AT&T Mobile TV-capable device. The Sharp FX phone is being brought to market by Personal Communications Devices, LLC. The new Sharp phone has a full touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard for quick access to messaging, IM, e-mail and social networking. The Sharp FX mobile phone also features an MP3 player, 2.0 megapixel digital camera with camcorder and Bluetooth 2.1.

Verizon Wireless and Samsung Mobile announced that the Samsung Gusto mobile phone is available online today and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the coming weeks. The sleek Samsung Gusto cell phone sports a two inch main display, multiple messaging options, Dynamic Voice Enhancement technology with noise suppression, mobile internet browser and Bluetooth technology for hands free communication. The Samsung Gusto cell phone will be available in the colour Metallic Gray.

Verizon Wireless and Motorola announced that the Motorola Droid 2 Smartphone will be available for pre-sale on August 11. Hitting all the right keys, the Motorola Droid 2 handset is a feature-packed mobile phone that helps manage work and social life with an enhanced QWERTY keyboard, ultra high-speed internet browsing, 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities, full push corporate e-mail, intuitive social messaging and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 for access to the full web all built on Google Android 2.2.
