BenQ announces the launch of the BenQ-Siemens P51 PDA phone - the much anticipated successor to the BenQ Siemens P50, offering enhanced feature set including WLAN technology for fast, convenient Internet access and an integrated GPS receiver for navigation service. The versatile P51 operates on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera, a bright 2.83-inch touch screen display and an ergonomic QWERTY keyboard.

BenQ Mobile announced that mobile phone users across Europe will be able to quickly and easily access Google Maps for mobile which will be pre-installed on a number of BenQ-Siemens UMTS handsets beginning in June 2006. Google Maps enables users to easily and quickly find local restaurants, galleries, shops or favorite hotspots. It gives users access to detailed directions, integrated search results, maps and satellite imagery from Google Earth directly from their mobile phone.

With the presentation of Real Madrid´s new jerseys for the 2006/2007 season today, the new main sponsor´s logo BenQ-Siemens will appear on the chests of the players for the first time.
