Archos, a pioneer in the Android tablet market, has launched two new Android Tablets featuring an OMAP 4 processor with an ARM Cortex dual-core A9 running at 1.5 GHz and a ultra-fast Seagate 250GB Hard Disk. The 8” Archos 80 G9 and 10” Archos 101 G9 Android tablets are powered by the latest version; Android 3.1 (Honeycomb). The Archos G9 Tablets features Google’s full suite of mobile applications and access to the Android Apps Market, giving users access to new tablet applications such as games, e-books, social media and news. The Archos G9 Tablets also offer a full internet experience complete with Adobe Flash support.

Archos was founded in 1988 as a worldwide producer of consumer Electronics, and are specifically known for their portable media products. Archos specialize in hand-sized audio and video recording, photo and video viewers. Today, Archos continue to develop their products, enabling us to purchase full media players / media recorders the size of a hand. The Archos 405 belongs to the Generation 5 series and is the most standard version of the line-up. Newer products of the same series offer additional features such as a Touchscreen, Wi-Fi and GPS.
