Archos, a pioneer in Android devices, is pleased to announce its first line of Google certified affordable smartphones. Each smartphone will feature a super slim design, IPS screen with amazing viewing angles, a powerful Qualcomm CPU and the flexibility of dual SIM cards which allow the user to manage two providers simultaneously. Ranging from 3.5" to 5.3" in size, the first three smartphones to be released in Q2 will include a range of features, connectivity, CPU's and storage.

Archos introduces their first Android gaming tablet. This new type of tablet, the Archos GamePad, combines gaming controls with Android for a full tablet and gaming experience in one. Gamers will not only have access to all their favorite Android games, they will also have access to email, Internet, apps and more through one tablet. The GamePad Android gaming tablet features a 7 inch, capacitive screen, physical control buttons and analog sticks. This Google certified gaming tablet has full access to Google Play for the tens of thousands of games available, runs a dual-core processor @ 1.5 GHz combined with a Mali 400mp quad-core GPU. The GamePad gaming tablet includes automatic game recognition and mapping tools.

Archos is pleased to announce the unveiling of its Gen10 XS Android tablets. The Archos 101 XS, a 10.1-inch Android tablet that weighs only 21 ounces and measures 0.31 of an inch thin, will be the first of this new line of extra slim Archos tablets to debut mid-September followed by the release of the Archos 97 XS and Archos 80 XS. Archos continues to push the technological boundaries with the innovative Coverboard, a unique magnetic keyboard conceived for all Archos tablets. The entire Gen10 XS line is Google certified, features Android 4.0 and allows full access to Google Play featuring over 600,000 apps. The Archos tablets will be upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in Q4 2012.

Archos, a pioneer in the Android tablet market, has launched two new Android Tablets featuring an OMAP 4 processor with an ARM Cortex dual-core A9 running at 1.5 GHz and a ultra-fast Seagate 250GB Hard Disk. The 8” Archos 80 G9 and 10” Archos 101 G9 Android tablets are powered by the latest version; Android 3.1 (Honeycomb). The Archos G9 Tablets features Google’s full suite of mobile applications and access to the Android Apps Market, giving users access to new tablet applications such as games, e-books, social media and news. The Archos G9 Tablets also offer a full internet experience complete with Adobe Flash support.
