Cortado announces that Cortado Workplace is now carried by Samsung in the "Samsung Apps" store. Now Samsung users can enjoy the versatile functions of the Cortado Workplace app, including file management, file sharing and free cloud printing. According to current data of the market research firm IDC, Samsung led the worldwide smartphone market ahead of Apple in 2012 with a market share of 30.3 percent. Using the Samsung Apps Store, preinstalled on all Samsung devices, users can download selected apps to their smartphone. After extensive testing and subsequent activation by Samsung, the free cloud desktop app, Cortado Workplace, is now available too.

The Establishment Number Finder App is the first Apple iPhone app dedicated to searching a US Department of Agriculture product establishment number. The new iPhone app offers instant access to a product’s manufacturer and provides further information about that company. The iPhone app offers its address, telephone number and web address. All containers of meat, poultry and egg products must be labeled with a USDA mark of inspection and establishment number, which is assigned to the plant, where the product was produced. Users simply type a product’s establishment number into the app and discover the producer or manufacturer of the product.

Fidelity Investments announced that Windows Phone users now have free access to the Fidelity Windows Phone 8 brokerage app through the online Windows Phone Store to help them manage their investments on the go. The trading app for Windows Phone 8 provides Fidelity customers access to their brokerage account watch lists, account information, real-time quotes and the ability to trade stocks, ETFs, mutual funds and options. All investors, whether or not they are a Fidelity customer, will be able to view news, market information and quotes.

Adobe Photoshop for smart phones - Adobe announced the availability of a new version of Photoshop Touch, optimized for Apple iPhone, iPod touch, and Android smart phones. Inspired by the successful Photoshop Touch for tablets, the smartphone app brings core features of Photoshop desktop software to mobile devices and offers similar intuitive, touch-based features. "Mobile phones are increasingly becoming the primary tool for people to take and edit photos," said Winston Hendrickson, vice president products, Creative Media Solutions, Adobe.
