New iPad 3 Tops Three Million - Apple announced it has sold three million of its new Apple iPad 3 since its launch on March 16. The iPad 3 features a new Retina display, Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics, a 5 Megapixel iSight digital camera with advanced optics for capturing amazing pictures and full 1080p HD video, and still delivers the same all-day 10 hour battery life while remaining amazingly thin and light. Apple iPad Wi-Fi + 4G supports ultrafast 4G LTE networks in the Unites States and Canada, and fast networks around the world including those based on HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA. (4G LTE is supported only on AT&T and Verizon networks in the U.S. and on Bell, Rogers, and Telus networks in Canada.)

Apple announced it has sold over four million of its new iPhone 4S, just three days after its launch on October 14. In addition, more than 25 million customers are already using iOS 5, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, in the first five days of its release, and more than 20 million customers have signed up for iCloud, a breakthrough set of free cloud services that automatically and wirelessly store your content in iCloud and push it to all your devices. The Apple iPhone 4S is available today in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK, and will be available in 22 more countries on October 28 and more than 70 countries by the end of the year.

Apple introduces iCloud, a set of free new cloud services that work seamlessly with applications on your Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or Personal Computer to automatically and wirelessly store your content in Apple iCloud and automatically and wirelessly push it to all your mobile devices. When anything changes on one of your mobile devices, all of your devices are wirelessly updated almost instantly. Thanks to Apple iCloud purchased iOS apps via the Apple App Store and Apple iBookstore will now be downloaded to all your mobile devices, not just the device it was purchased on.

Apple releases a beta version of Apple iOS 5 mobile operating system to iOS Developer Program members. The Apple iOS 5 beta release includes over 200 new features that will be available to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users this fall. New Apple iOS 5 features include: Notification Center, an innovative way to easily view and manage notifications in one place without interruption; iMessage, a new messaging service that lets you easily send text messages, photos and videos between all Apple iOS devices; and Newsstand, a new way to purchase and organize your newspaper and magazine subscriptions. With the PC Free feature, Apple iOS 5 users can activate and set up their Apple iOS device right out of the box and get software updates over the air.
