Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that major content providers, including MTV Networks, the Nasdaq Stock Market, eBay, Reuters, Dolce & Gabbana and others are using the company’s Flash Player compatible mobile products and solutions to extend their brands to the handheld market. Leading companies are adopting Adobe Flash Home, a new mobile application for rich, dynamic home screens, and Adobe Flash Cast 2 technology, the next generation offline portal solution, to deliver high-impact user experiences and provide instant access to data services.

Adobe Systems Incorporated announced the availability of Adobe Flash Lite 3 software, which now supports Adobe Flash Player compatible video and enables the delivery of dynamic Web content on mobile devices. Flash Lite 3 allows mobile device manufacturers, operators and content providers to differentiate their offerings by giving users the ability to watch Flash Player compatible video, the world's most popular video format, and browse Flash enabled Web sites when integrated with a mobile Web browser. Both NTT DoCoMo and Nokia committed to deliver Flash Lite 3 enabled devices in upcoming releases of handsets. Adobe expects more than one billion Flash enabled devices to be available by 2010.

At the 3GSM World Congress, MTV Networks, a unit of Viacom and Adobe Systems Incorporated are previewing new mobile media applications featuring exclusive MTV Networks programming and leveraging Adobe Flash technology. The innovative mobile media applications, available later this year, will deliver music, comedy and entertainment content from the MTV, VH1, Logo and Comedy Central brands directly to handsets that support Adobe FlashCast.

At the 3GSM World Congress, Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that the number of Flash enabled devices shipping worldwide has tripled since January 2006, to reach more than 200 million. Adobe's mobile Flash technology includes Adobe Flash Lite, a Flash Player profile specifically developed for mobile devices, and Adobe FlashCast, Adobe’s flexible client-server solution that delivers rich, intuitive mobile data experiences. Both technologies have seen explosive adoption worldwide over the last twelve months.

At the 3GSM World Congress, Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that support for video will be integrated in the next generation of Adobe Flash Lite software, Adobe’s award-winning Flash Player runtime specifically designed for mobile phones.
