Last year, the netbook appeared to be at the beginning of a large breakthrough. A year later, the opposite seems to be the case. The notebooks have become smaller and have actually been taking over the place that the netbooks should have been filling. Still, here and there we have seen some netbooks by manufacturers such as Samsung and in this case Acer. The Acer Aspire One 532G is the first netbook that is completely configured in order to be able to process HD multimedia content. According to an Acer spokesperson, the Acer One 532G netbook is equipped with a NVIDIA video card, namely NVIDIA's Ion 2. With this NVIDIA video card, 1080p content can be viewed without a problem.

But if Acer Liquid smartphone owners still have a bit of patience, their OS can be updated to version 2.1 in the summer of 2010, at least that is the expectation that was created during our visit to the Acer booth during the MWC 2010.
