Acer Liquid Z5 smartphone - Acer unveiled the compact Liquid Z5 smartphone. The Acer Liquid Z5 is designed for first time adopters or budget conscious users looking for mobile web browsing, photo and video taking and entertainment. The new Acer Liquid smartphone features a 5-inch screen also with a 16:9 aspect ratio to enhance movie and video viewing. Despite the big size screen, the Acer Liquid Z5 is surprisingly thin and easy to carry with its 8.8 mm thin profile and rounded edge. Acer will unveil at IFA 2013 the new Liquid S2, a full HD 6" with IPS technology 4K recording capable smartphone with ultra-fast connectivity including 4G LTE and the new Wi-Fi 802.11 ac standard. Following the recent successful launch of the Liquid E, Z and S series, Acer is now ushering in a different world of clarity with four times the resolution of full HD. This technology has been featured in some cameras already, but it's a completely new experience with smartphones running on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz processor capable of recording in 4K.

Last year, the netbook appeared to be at the beginning of a large breakthrough. A year later, the opposite seems to be the case. The notebooks have become smaller and have actually been taking over the place that the netbooks should have been filling. Still, here and there we have seen some netbooks by manufacturers such as Samsung and in this case Acer. The Acer Aspire One 532G is the first netbook that is completely configured in order to be able to process HD multimedia content. According to an Acer spokesperson, the Acer One 532G netbook is equipped with a NVIDIA video card, namely NVIDIA's Ion 2. With this NVIDIA video card, 1080p content can be viewed without a problem.

Acer brought some new Smartphones to the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Spain, including the “new” Acer Liquid E. “New” because it is actually a further developed version of a smartphone that was introduced last year: the Acer Liquid cell phone. It is interesting for the owners of an Acer Liquid handset to see the possibilities that the Acer Liquid e mobile phone has due to the software applications of Android 2.1. But if Acer Liquid smartphone owners still have a bit of patience, their OS can be updated to version 2.1 in the summer of 2010, at least that is the expectation that was created during our visit to the Acer booth during the MWC 2010.

During the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona we also visited the Acer booth. During this event, Acer introduced 5 new affordable Smartphones, including the Acer beTouch E400. The Acer E400 beTouch is a smartphone that runs on the popular Google Android OS. According to Cristina Saita, Acer’s International Public Relations representative, the beTouch E400 runs on Android 2.1 and the new Acer smartphone is equipped with a 600Mhz lcomm processor. What’s immediately noticeable is the large format display with which the Acer beTouch E400 mobile phone is equipped. A 3.2-inch touch screen is the largest format, but it is easy to use.
