L G Optimus L Series II smartphones - At this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), LG will launch the Optimus L Series II with the introduction of the LG Optimus L7 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L3 II. The widely successful Optimus L Series has evolved to include contemporary design aesthetics and innovations that improve on the original. In the first 10 months more than 10 million LG Optimus L smartphones were sold. The new LG Optimus smartphones look to continue this momentum with a sophisticated style and differentiated features. The LG Optimus L Series 2 embodies the beauty of the first Optimus L Series, but with a more refined touch.

LG Optimus L Series 2 smartphones

The LG Optimus L7 II smartphone runs on the Android operating system and offers an expanded set of user-convenient features, including those unique to LG smartphones such as Quick Button and QuickMemo. The Quick Button can be personalized as a hotkey to launch any app, such as the digital camera, the internet browser, the music player or even QuickMemo. The last one allows users to capture and share handwritten ideas. The LG Optimus L7 II also features Safety Care, which includes three options - Emergency Call Forwarding, Phone Non-Usage Notice' and My Location Notice - which can be programmed to contact a loved one in case of an emergency.

The design philosophy of the new LG Optimus L Series II smartphones have been enhanced to include four new design elements: Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and Smart LED Lighting on the home button. The user experience is enhanced with the high-resolution IPS display and extended capacity battery. What's more, the LG Optimus L7 II will also come as a Dual SIM version, enabling users to use one device for both business and personal calls.

New LG Optimus L smartphones

The Dual SIM version of the LG Optimus L7 II will be the first of the new series to launch, making its debut in Russia this week. The LG Optimus L7 2 will include unique phone features such as QSlide and QuickTranslator. Availability of the LG Optimus L3 2 with its 3.2-inch QVGA IPS display and 1,540mAh battery and the LG Optimus L5 2 with a larger 4.0-inch WVGA display and 1,700mAh battery will be announced at a later date.
