G oogle and Motorola are working on X smartphone - Motorola engineers have indicated to work on a new high-end smartphone in cooperation with Google. The Motorola X Phone as it is called internally must compete with the popular Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. The new Motorola smartphone seems to get equipped with a very high quality digital camera and gesture recognition. There is also talk of a bendable display and the used ceramic materials will be extra durable. If these specifications become reality, we can certainly speak of a smartphone that distinguishes itself from everything currently on the market.

It will take a considerable time before this Motorola smartphone will be actually launched, it is said that the premium features cause battery life problems. Motorola and Google also seem to suffer production and supply chain management problems. Nevertheless, there is talk that the new Motorola smartphone will be officially introduced in Q2 2013. Subsequently, the Motorola engineers will not be standing still, once the X Phone becomes reality the company will continue to work on a so-called X Tablet.
