E co friendly and organic products are currently so popular that Hama has decided to expand its ‘Eco-Line’ series of mobile phone cases. What began last year with Liquid Wood, the unique raw material, is now being expanded to include universal sleeves and product-specific folding mobile phone cases made of cork or coconut fibres. Twenty-six new mobile phone case models will be released in time for the IFA 2012. These phone cases are not only attractive; they make an important contribution to protecting the environment. The iPhone 4 the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S3 have their own mobile phone cases, which have a hard shell made of Liquid Wood and a lid made of cork.

 

Mobile phone cases from Hama

The material for the universal mobile phone cases made of coconut fibres. These fibres are extracted from the husk of the coconut and then processed to make stable strands, dyed in popular earth tones and woven to create unique patterns.

 

 

Mobile phone and smartphone cases

In order to ensure that your expensive smartphones are adequately protected, the mobile phone cases are lined with a soft fleece which also cleans the surfaces of your device with every use. To make it easier to take the devices out, the universal sleeves are equipped with a lift function. In keeping with the tradition of Hama's ‘EcoLine', the mobile phone and smartphone cases are manufactured using fast-growing renewable raw materials in a way that is particularly environmentally-friendly. Environmentally-sound materials are also used for product packaging.
