S ony-Ericsson introduced a dust and water resistant Xperia Android Smartphone. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Smartphone was announced at the CommunicAsia 2011 in Singapore. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active is the one of the latest Xperia Smartphones from Sony-Ericsson. The Xperia Active features a 3” screen and runs on Google Android Gingerbread 2.3. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active Android Smartphone has a 5 Megapixel camera with HD video support, powered by a fast 1Ghz processor. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active is a water resistant and dust proof Smartphone packed with the new Reality Display with Sony Mobile Bravia Engine.

The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active handset comes pre-loaded with sports apps that enable user to easily track their fitness levels. Users of the new Xperia Active Smartphone can set their ideal training route using the built-in GPS, Barometer and Compass. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active features on-screen heart rate and pulse can be monitored in real-time (ANT+ wireless networking technology), while the Fitness app can monitor your performance. Additionally, Facebook inside Xperia allows users to share their fitness progress.

The new Sony Ericsson Xperia Active mobile phone incorporates wet finger tracking, to ensure the Sony-Ericcson Smartphone works correctly when either the touchscreen or a user's fingers are wet. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active is truly water resistant, the new mobile phone can be kept 1 meter deep into the water for 30 mins. The Sony-Ericsson Xperia Active phone will be available in orange band with black back cover - white extra cover in the sales kit, or with white band with black back cover - white extra cover in the sales package.
