H TC introduced a new 4G Smartphone together with Verizon Wireless, further solidifying HTC global position as the market leader in 4G Smartphones. Taking advantage of Verizon 4G network and the intuitiveness of the HTC Sense user experience, HTC Thunderbolt Smartphone is one of the first 4G Smartphones to integrate Skype mobile with video calling. Rather than relying on a stand alone application, a Skype mobile with video call can be made as easily as a standard voice call - with features like presence icons that indicate the availability status of friends built into the contacts list.

The HTC Thunderbolt 4G Smartphone features superb speed and operation power with the newest 1GHz Snapdragon processor. HTC Thunderbolt Smartphone customers will also enjoy the premium HTC Sense user experience, running on the Android 2.2 platform from Google. Creating and viewing multimedia content is made possible with a large 4.3" WVGA color display, Dolby surround sound, 8 megapixel camera and HD movie recording. The HTC Thunderbolt Smartphone also has a front facing digital camera that enables easy video calling.

HTC Thunderbolt 4G review availibilty & price information

The new HTC Thunderbolt 4G Smartphone will have a suggested retail price of $299 on a two year contract with Verizon Wireless.
