BlackBerry Torch review - Smartphone menu
When you push on the menu key, the menu is opened immediately. At the bottom of the screen you can click on an arrow, or push the menu key twice to open the menu. All options and programs are grouped together. If you move to the left or to the right, then you see a number of tabs: Favorites, Access to Media, Downloads and Frequent. The menu works very quickly and smoothly. It takes a bit of getting used to, and in comparison to previous versions, the order has truly changed. For example, in settings, we now see an overview instead of a simple list. The search function is a fun feature; you can type something on the main screen and the item is searched throughout the phone. It allows you to quickly go to a program or contact.

Review BlackBerry Torch - Phone subscriptions
BlackBerry is of course known for the good E-mail synchronization possibilities and the popular BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for Pinging. To gain access to these services, you have to acquire a special BlackBerry subscription. These subscriptions are in BlackBerry BIS for the consumer market and BlackBerry BES for the business user. With a BIS subscription, you can add an e-mail account via the provider's special site or the phone itself. BlackBerry BES is especially for users with BlackBerry software on the Exchange-server.

BlackBerry Torch review
The BlackBerry Torch is BlackBerry's touch smartphone. Not only can the phone be operated with the touchscreen, there is also a fully extendable QWERTY-keyboard. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 also has a 5.0 megapixel digital camera, a built-in GPS-antenna, HSDPA and Wi-Fi. Our experiences with the BlackBerry 9800 can be read in the following BlackBerry Torch review.
