Samsung Galaxy Tab review
Now, what exactly do you get for the price tag of 749 EURO ? First of all, a smaller device. It may sound strange, but the Tab's dimensions are so much smaller, that the device is exactly half the size of the iPad. That makes the Tab portable, so portable that the Samsung Galaxy Tab can be carried inside the breast pocket of a jacket or even in the back of your pants, although you should remove it before you sit down, otherwise you'll be in trouble. For the rest, the Samsung Galaxy Tab can be called all-round. The applications that are supported by the Samsung tablet are very diverse.

Review Samsung Galaxy Tab touchscreen
The Samsung Galaxy Tab's 7-inch format screen is unfortunately not an AMOLED type, but a 16 million pixels TFT color LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 600x1024 pixels resolution. Next to the clearly lower weight, being portable is one of the most important features of the device, and is to mark the difference in the competition between the iPad and the Tab. There is actually another difference, and that is the Samsung Galaxy Tab's full calling functionality, (including video calling). The calling functionality leads to hilarity when you use the Tab as a phone, holding it up to your ear.

Samsung Galaxy Tab review
After having used the Samsung Galaxy Tab for a while, it has become clear to us that the Tab is an all-round tablet with specifications that you would expect from a modern tablet. It also shows us the difference with the iPad, for example. The comparison is inevitable. The Tab is equipped with a microSDHC card slot and a standard format SIM card is used for telecommunication. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab is equipped with a digital camera. It may seem obvious, but just these features are missing in the iPad. Read our full Samsung Galaxy Tab review.
